Dauphine Accent Chair

Dauphine Accent Chair

Need somewhere to read or catch up with a friend that isn't the middle of the sofa? The Dauphine Accent Chair is a fabric accent chair for living rooms, bedrooms, and studies where one well-placed seat can make an overlooked corner useful.

Its listed overall dimensions are 34.25 inches long, 34.25 inches wide, and 27.95 inches high. That square footprint is easier to plan around than a sprawling lounge setup, though it still needs room to approach and sit comfortably. Place a small side table within reach and a lamp nearby, and the corner starts working for everyday life rather than just looking furnished.

Fabric brings a softer element alongside wood furniture and hard flooring. If the room already has a lot going on, keep the arrangement pared back: a reading light, a book, and enough clear floor space to move past the chair without sidestepping it.

Why It Works

• A separate seat: Adds a place for reading or conversation outside the main sofa.
• Easy-to-measure footprint: Its 34.25-by-34.25-inch overall size makes planning a corner straightforward.
• Lower overall profile: At 27.95 inches high, it leaves more open wall space above it.
• Fabric material: Brings a textile note into rooms with tables, shelving, or hard floors.

Ideal Placements

• A living room corner: Give a reading lamp and small table a proper seat to serve.
• Beside a bedroom window: Make a quiet spot to sit without using the bed.
• A home study: Add an off-desk place for reading or taking a break, provided there is clear walking space.

Styling Pairings

Try a slender floor lamp and a small round table beside Dauphine. A flat-woven rug, pale walls, and a walnut-toned shelf make an easy backdrop; add a muted blue or olive throw for a little color. Keep nearby furniture light in scale so the chair reads as an invitation to sit, not one more thing to navigate.

Vibe & Aesthetic

Quiet contemporary, well suited to modern and transitional rooms that favor practical seating and a little breathing room.
